ChateauJust a few miles from the historic towns of Vitré and Rennes, close to Mont St. Michel and St. Malo, the Château des Tesnières is a wonderful castle built between 1852 and 1867, and completely refurbished and transformed into a luxury small hotel in 2003. Set in fifteen acres of parkland, you can enjoy a walk through the park where there are century-old oaks and cedars, forests, orchards and pasture. Sit by the pond and enjoy the water lilies, salamanders, frogs - a perfect place to meditate. On the ground floor of the Château des Tesnières there is a spacious and elegant Louis XVI drawing room, a library and a dining room, all at your disposal. The tower next to the drawing room also has a desk with PC and ADSL internet access fully at your disposal. The tower next to the dining room has a bar, so you can have drinks whenever you want.
