Inns en Route Inc. (
Visit Website) began offering small special hotels in Spain to clients in 1999. Our much-travelled founders were frustrated at the lack of a comprehensive website that showcased some of the wonderful, small and charming inns in the Spanish countryside and coasts that only Spaniards seemed to know about. Since then we've expanded to include many other countries, including France.
We are France Certified Agents, recognized by the France Tourism Development Agency.
Our Service
Our reputation is only as good as the hotels which we represent. We take pride in personally reviewing every hotel on our site, taking our own photogtaphs and meeting the owners so that you get an accurate summary of each hotel. We also monitor client feedback carefully to ensure that our hotels maintain their quality. In addition to our hotel listings, we provide a fast and efficient reservations service. We list
telephone numbers and email addresses so that you can benefit from the knowledge of our well-travelled staff, or you can use our on-line chat service. We operate as a fully-insured and bonded travel agency and are members of the BBB-Online program as well as several other high-profile certification programs.

How do I use your service?
You can
phone or email us your specific questions, or you can browse our selection of hotels and enquire about those that interest you.
How much does it cost to use your service?
There is no cost (hidden or additional) to use our service - you pay the same rate, or less, as if you contacted the hotel direct.
How long does it take once I make an enquiry?
We strive to answer within a few hours. When dealing with our smaller hotels it can take a little longer. If you have made an enquiry and haven't heard from us in 24 hours, please do contact us again as we do use spam filters and in some situations we may have been unable to contact you.
Do I need a voucher? Who do I pay?
For most hotels we do not issue vouchers as you pay the hotel direct upon check-out. For those hotels who do require prepayment, we will issue you a voucher.
Are there deposits? What if I cancel?
A small percentage of our inns do require full prepayment (particularly members of the Chateaux et Hotels group), while others do not require any deposit. If a deposit is required, this is clearly indicated in the hotel deposit policy and notes section. Each hotel sets its own cancellation policy, and this is displayed on its page. Cancellations are subject to this policy and are charged by the hotel direct.
