| HOTEL PRICES LISTED ARE FOR 2006. Hotel prices are shown in a range--the exact price of your room depends on a number of variables, including high, low or mid-season, special holidays, normal or superior rooms, weekdays or weekends, etc. We will confirm the exact price of your room at the time of your enquiry/reservation. Please note that unless otherwise specified, the local tax is not included. |
| Deposits/Guarantees and Cancellations: |
| We require either a credit card or a deposit guarantee to secure a booking. If you must cancel a reservation, please advise us (or the hotel direct) in good time and definitely within the hotel's cancellation period. When you make a reservation, it is understood that you have read and agree to the hotels cancellation policy and the terms and conditions listed on this site. In high season, some hotels ask for a deposit as follows: 100% for one night reserved, 50% for 2 nights reserved, 30% for 3 or more nights reserved. We will advise you if a deposit or prepayment is required, and if a hotel requires a Credit Card authorization form we will fax this to you. You are requested to fax this to us with your signature. As the cancellation policy for each hotel is different, please make sure you understand the policy for the hotel at which you are reserving. Hotels in the Silence group, in particular, have a 30 day cancellation policy as outlined below. For hotels in the Chateaux et Hotels group prepayment is required at the time of making the reservation. Please note that a 15 Euro administration fee per room booked, per hotel, will be charged by Inns en Route Inc. on all confirmed reservations that are changed or cancelled, IN ADDITION to the hotel cancellation charge. The 15 euro cancellation fee per room booked can be credited to future reservations within 6 months. |
| Deposits/Guarantees/Changes and Cancellations for Silence Hotels : |

PREPAYMENT AND DEPOSIT: Hotels in the Silence group require full prepayment of reservations. A non-refundable deposit of 50 euros is due upon making a reservation and the remaining costs of your total reservation will be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your reservation date. A Confirmation of Reservation will be issued once the deposit payment has been made. A Reservation Voucher will be will be issued after payment of the full amount. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION: If, for any reason, the final payment cannot be made on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking, retain the deposit and apply cancellation charges as shown below. If you need to cancel your reservation and do so more than 30 days prior to your reservation, only the deposit of 50 euros will be retained. If you cancel between 30 days to 10 days prior to your reservation, 50% of total reservation will be retained and the balance credited to you; if you cancel between 10 days and date of reservation (or if you do not arrive at the hotel) 100% of your reservation will be retained. CHANGES TO CONFIRMED RESERVATIONS: There is no charge for adding rooms to a previously confirmed reservation, subject to availability. If you wish to make a change more than 30 days prior to reservation date, 15 euros may be charged. Within 30 days of your reservation, 30 euros may be charged for changes to existing reservations. INSURANCE: We recommend travel and personal insurance cover for situations where full prepayment is required for hotels. NATIONAL HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS: If your reservation falls on a holiday or during a special event, different conditions may apply, and these will be specified on our confirmation of reservation. |

PREPAYMENT AND DEPOSIT: Prepayment for the full amount of the stay will be taken by C. and H. group at the time of confirming the reservation. Note that the 3 digit code on the back of your card will be requested. A receipt and voucher will be emailed to you for presentation to the hotel. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION: If you need to cancel your reservation the following schedule will apply: for reservations of 1 to 3 nights if cancelled less than 72 hours prior to arrival the total amount of the stay will be charged by Chateaux et Hotels. For reservations of 4 nights or more if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival the total amount of the stay will be charged by Chateaux et Hotels. In case of no show, the total amount of the stay will also be charged including all services purchased upon reserving. In addition a 15 Euros administrative cancellation fee per room booked will be charged by Inns en Route Inc. on all reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. | Accuracy of website/booking information: |
Every effort has been made to accurately represent Inns of France on this website, but occasionally changes do occur that may not be immediately reflected on the website. Neither the hotels nor Inns of France can be held responsible for such changes. On occasion an emergency situation may arise in which the hotel is forced to close temporarily or withdraw certain services. We cannot make any representations or warranties on these changes but we will try our best inform you of these situations as soon as possible. We cannot be responsible for errors or omissions. If an incorrect price is quoted to Inns of France by the hotel and the reservation is confirmed at that price, Inns of France cannot be held responsible for such discrepancy; pricing disputes should be addressed by the client to the hotel. We can never guarantee a specific room. Hotels and proprietors are legally and financially independent of Inns en Route Inc. It is the responsibility of the client to keep track of their confirmed reservations. Inns en Route makes reservations when requested and if a client requests the same night(s) for two different hotels and these reservations are confirmed, it is the client's responsibility. In case of no-show, the client is liable for the cancellation fee. Although many of the hotels have swimming pools, the opening dates of the pools depend on the time of year, the weather and the region. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and the terms and conditions at any time. We always act quickly once your reservation request, with the necessary guarantee, is received. We cannot, however, guarantee that a room is reserved until we get a confirmation from the hotel. You should not make travel plans until you receive this confirmation from us. We cannot be responsible for lost reservations due to time differences, technical problems or hotel errors. If you do not receive details of your reservation within 5 days of sending us the relevant information, you must contact us by email or fax. On occasion a reservation confirmation will be undeliverable for various reasons (client has given us an incorrect email address, the email account is full, the internet service provider’s server is down). If a telephone number or a fax number has been given to us we will attempt to reach you this way, but if you choose not to provide this information, then it is impossible for us to reach you. For this reason it is imperative that you contact us if you do not receive your confirmed reservation once you have sent us your credit card details and have instructed us to make a reservation for you. If we cannot reach you and you do not contact us, and you do not arrive at the hotel, the hotel will charge you as a no-show. Locations on the map of France are approximate only. You should definitely obtain an up-to-date map and guidebook before beginning your journey. |
