Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. Located in the heart of Medoc, between the vineyards of Moulis & Margaux, Chateau Meyre has been planted with vines for more than 3 centuries. In 1876, the estate was listed among the best growths in Avensan, and the 1932 classification upgraded it to a Cru Bourgeois. During the past few years, this 18th century chateau has been restored to capture its original character and magnificence. It now incorporates a small inn with just nine ensuite uniquely designed and comfortable rooms. Every room has an ensuite bathroom with bath or shower. Amenities include telephone, toiletries, and hair dryer. A full continental breakfast is included. Coffee, tea, fruit juice, yogurt and croissant are served in the chateau's main dining room. Chateau Meyre welcomes guests from March to November and you will have an opportunity to discover the pleasures of wine tasting in an elegant countryside setting. Dinner is not served at the Chateau but the staff will be pleased to give you local recommendations.

Cancellation Policy:
For reservations of 1 to 3 nights if cancelled less than 72 hours prior to arrival the total amount of the stay will be charged by Chateaux et Hotels. For reservations of 4 nights or more if cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival the total amount of the stay will be charged by Chateaux et Hotels. In case of no show, the total amount of the stay will also be charged including all services purchased upon reserving.

the beds were awful. very lumpy and hard. we paid for an upgrade to another room and hoped the bed would be better - it was but not by much!
the original room was very disappointing for the money - we were given Gaia. We were staying for 4 nights and found that most people stayed only 1 or 2 nights and our room turned out to be the darkest with a smallish window. i think they could have selected us a better room knowing we were staying longer.”
