The location of this hotel is exceptional as it is in the heart of Avignon with its myriad quaint cobbled streets and a stone's throw from the Palais des Papes. The hotel de l'Horloge has 66 large bright and comfortable rooms which have air conditioning and ensuite full bathrooms (hairdryers in all rooms). The rooms are decorated in neutral colours with coir flooring. In a building from the 19th century, the hotel has sixty seven rooms, some with terrace. There is a pleasant, friendly atmosphere at this centrally-located hotel. Breakfast is served in a sunny, glassed-in room at street level. There are many restaurants in the vicinity and it is an ideal location from which to enjoy the many attractions of Avignon by foot. Park your car and enjoy the city for a few days. The hotel does not have private parking but offers a 20% discount for guests at the public carpark of the Palais des Papes, which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are many wonderful attractions in Avignon and the shopping is excellent.
