In a great location in front of the city walls and in a park setting, is this forty room hotel which is close to the town and to the Hospices de Beaune. All the rooms are spacious, each with its own bathroom, air conditioning, comfortable furniture, soundproofing, telephone and television. Some of the rooms are big enough for a family of four (or two couples). There is convenient underground garage parking if you arrive with a car. The house once belonged to a wine grower, and in keeping with tradition, it has an excellent cellar (originally built in the 17th century) complete with ribbed vaulted ceiling. The restaurant offers gastronomic candlelit dinners in the Abbey Cellar, complete with wine tasting. The restaurant is a delight, offering gastronomic and inventive Burgundian cuisine. Dinners may be taken in the restaurant with its fireplace or on the terrace, shaded by a hundred year old cedar tree. Three day, two night packages are available, including a Discovery and Relaxation Stay; Flavours and Tradition Stay; Escapade Beaunoise - ask us for prices.
Family Information
There are duplex rooms available for 2 adults and 2 children. Extra beds are available for both adults and children for 35 Euros per night. There are several rooms which can accommodate a family of 4.
Meal Information
Gastronomic restaurant: 39 Euros per person for dinner, and 20 Euros per person for lunch. The restaurant is closed for dinner on Sunday and closed for lunch on Mondays.
Notes Beaune is a wine-lovers dream. With its cobblestone streets and many fantastic restaurants, one can easily explore the city by foot for days on end. There are many interesting attractions, including La Moutarderie (where you can make your own mustard), Abbaye de Cluny,Sully, Commarin, Chateauneuf, Chateau de Bussy-Rabutin, Chateau de la Rochepot, and more.
