Situated in South Brittany (Quimper) just 1.5 km from the sea and the beaches of Bénodet, this family run inn has a friendly and homely atmosphere in a tranquil setting, run enthusiastically by Sylvie and Christian Berrou. There are hotel rooms and self-catering options at this estate. The Kereven estate has been inhabited since 1742. Originally the estate was a cider-producing property and, in the sixties, opened to guests. The main farm house has been skilfully renovated and an annex has been built in the same style and with the same charm. Guestrooms are in the main house and duplexes are in the renovated barn (for those seeking a longer stay). These duplexes are rented by the day in the spring and fall (with a minimum 3 night stay) and by the week from 21 June to 31 August; they are comfortably equipped and open on to the vast garden. The duplexes for four are on two levels and include living-kitchen, fully equipped (fridge, 4 ring cooker, oven, dishwasher, electric coffeemaker, toaster, crockery, vacuum cleaner, electric heating, TV, telephone, etc…) Bed settee. Bathroom with shower and toilet. On the upper floor are double room and toilet and sink. Please note that towels are not provided but it is possible to rent them for 4 Euros/kit). Local taxes (June 15 - August 31) and final cleaning are not included in the prices shown (for the duplexes only). Hotel rooms are unique, bright, attractively decorated, comfortable and quiet with superb views over the green. Restaurants in the area. The owners speak excellent English.
