During certain events in Cannes, the Canberra's prices are higher.

In June 2008 the Hotel restaurant Canberra reopened after an extensive renovation. Close to the Croisette, sandy beaches, Festival Hall and the main shopping area of Cannes, this prestigious boutique hotel has thirty rooms and five suites, all beautifully decorated and with full luxurious bathrooms. They are well equipped with minibar, air conditioning, safe, free wi-fi, telephone, television. The bistro-bar opens onto a vast terrace overlooking the swimming pool and is surrounded by bamboos and bougainvilleas (note that the pool is heated from March to October). There is also a fitness studio and sauna for guests. There is limited parking at the hotel (19 euros) but this is not guaranteed. The service at the hotel is friendly and efficient and the staff will be happy to help you plan your stay in this lovely city. During certain events, prices are higher and a minimum 3 or 5 night stay is in effect :Advertising Film Festival 21 - 26 June - 5 nights minimum stay; Plaisance Festival 9 - 13 September; MIPCOM 5 - 9 October 5 night minimum stay; TAX FREE 19 - 23 October - 5 night minimum stay.
