Just two and a half hours from Paris, the Château stands in picturesque, 50-hectare landscaped gardens in Anjou. For an overnight stop or a few days break right in the heart of the Loire Valley, François and Hedwige de Valbray will warmly welcome you to their magnificent family property. With fourteen elegant, authentically decorated guestrooms (all ensuite) you will be transported back to the eighteenth century when the chateau was built. In an annex building built in 1850 and 50 metres from the Chateau in the heart of the park is the Fruitier with six tastefully decorated double bedrooms. With ancient floor tiles, a fireplace in tuffeau and huge windows looking across to the chateau – the Fruitier is a little paradise on its own. The back of Le Fruitier opens into the walled vegetable garden where you will find the swimming pool and tennis court. A perfect setting for a family or a group of friends to relax far from the stresses of town. The gardens and lake provide a wonderful backdrop for this beautiful chateau. Dinners are served (please order in advance) and the cuisine is regional. Join other guests on the lawn for a pleasant pre-dinner aperitif, or in the salon after dinner. The hosts are convivial and interesting. There is a small swimming pool and bicycles are available for leisurely rides in the area.

Very small room provided with very very small bathroom and very very small toilet! No evening meal available and left to find somewhere for oursleves.
