Staying in a medieval castle is one of those things you've just got to do once. Worth paying for a turret room - straight out of the history books. The parkland by the river was lovely, and the food was excellent.
Didn't Like:

“We liked it very much, except it was disappointing to find out the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays... the hotel, however, is not at all organized for senior citizens (golden age)... I understand it is difficult to add an elevator (lift) in the chateau.. but it should be mentionned in your site that the hotel is not "senior" citizens "friendly"... the stairway was extremely difficult for my father... elder or handicapted people do travel nowadays.. and their lack of agility should be better considered.”

“The hotel could not accommodate me in the restaurant that evening due to my mid evening arrival and a failure to book my table in advance. Other choices in the small town were very limited. Although the experience of sleeping in a castle was unique the quality and furnishings of the suite was less than satisfactory.”
