A deposit of a third of the booking (per room booked) is required upon confirmation of reservation, non refundable if cancelled less than one month before the stay date. Located in a 98 acre wood in the Loire Valley is the little Bois d'Esves guesthouse with just five guest rooms. The rooms are located on the upper floor, and are simply decorated with family antique furniture. Family suites have two bedrooms and one bathroom, separated from the other bedrooms of the house. There is a large swimming pool in the garden.There are restaurants less than 10 minutes from the house, however, if you book in advance, the owner can prepare a dinner (25 euros per person, wines included). The location of Descartes is 35 km. from Loches and Tours 45 km.
Meal Information
Order in advance 25 Eu. (20Eu from 10 to18 years old - 15Eu for under 10 years). Aperitif, starter, main course, cheeseboard, dessert. Each meal will be accompanied with red wine from Touraine. Reastaurants nearby.
Notes Check in between 4pm and 9pm, check out before 11:30am. In the Loire Valley, visit chateaux, taste wines and enjoy the French way of life.

We had extremely good and comfortable accommodation - it was attractive and a delight to be there. We were made extremely welcome by the owners with whom we had an evening meal in the garden that was very enjoyable. Veronique the proprietor speaks good English, so there is no difficulty in communicating for those with poor French. We arrived on a hot day in June and were able to have a welcome dip in the pool.
