Situated in the Valley of the Sor in the village of Garrevaques, the Chateau de Garrevaques sits in a beautiful rural location, amidst large trees and fields of sunflowers. The Chateau was originally built in 1460. Designed to protect the local village population, it has an air of grandeur about it, with four towers, a canal-tiled roof and a walled moat. A little bridge over the moat takes you to the Chateau's former stables, which are now exquisitely converted into warm and spacious guest bedrooms. There are a total of fifteen rooms (some in the Pavillon) with king size bed, satellite television, DVD player, internet access, air conditioning and telephone - and full bathrooms. Some are suitable for two people, others can accommodate three or four people. In the Pavillon are more guestrooms, all beautifully decorated. Some bedrooms have terraces overlooking the Lauragais countryside. The public rooms surround a patio which is flooded with light from its glass roof. There is a fitness centre here, along with spa treatments (massage, balneotherapy etc.) Marie-Christine and Claude Combes will welcome you at the Château de Garrevaques as privileged guests whether you come for a short stay or a longer visit. There is a swimming pool and tennis court - for leisure activities and the chateau is an ideal base from which to explore this fascinating area. The restaurant is located in the magnificent vaulted cellars and offers gastronomic cusine. Half board is available upon request.

Le Grenier du Pastel offers light refreshments between spa treatments at “Les Soins de Colette” but also regional specialities, i.e. magret aux cepes, cassoulet, confit de canard, volailles du Lauragais - spit roasted in the chimney built with the stone from the local Black Mountains..Menu to 17 € or a la carte - Children's menu 10 €. Gastronomique Restaurant - Superb local wines and dishes as well as specialities from other regions...Menus from 23 to 45 € excluding wines - Children's menu 12 €
