Chateau Talaud was the 18th century home of the Marquis Grille L'Estoublen, in the heart of the Comtat Venaissin, near Avignon. Surrounded by its own vineyard, producing a red AOC Cotes du Ventoux, Chateau Talaud offers its guests five spacious bedrooms, all tastefully decorated with antiques and modern amenities. Tables, chairs and chaise-longues are dotted all over the gardens of the Chateau; an ample breakfast or an aperitif can be enjoyed in the Chateau's gardens or in one of your favorite spots within the Chateau. The Red Bedroom is a large comfortable 2 room suite, facing South and the Château Vineyard. This room is tastefully decorated with antiques, and has a large bathroom. The Blue Bedroom is a large room with big marble bathroom - comfortable and with a delightful ambience. The Green Room is a cosy corner-room decorated in natural colours, with a wood-panelled bathroom. The Cherry Room is a new room with views to the fountain and vineyards. The decoration is in warm tones and the bathroom has an old-style bath. The Yellow Mini Suite is a light comfortable corner-room with a charming living room, enjoying an overall view of the park and the vineyards. There are two self-catering apartments also available: L'Orangerie de Talaud is a new luxurious apartment with big living room tastefully decorated, with integrated fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom, private terrace / garden with stunning view on Château's vineyards, as well on the Mont Ventoux. The Talaud Apartment is modern and comfortable and is in the chateau's park. It has a large living room, separate kitchen with dining area, bedroom with kingsize bed, large bathroom, and south-facing terrace. Enjoy dinner at the chateau on Monday and Thursday (must be reserved in advance) at 50 euros per person approx. aperitif included.
