In high season, July and August, no further bookings can be accepted. In a building, dating from the 19th century and fully renoved in 2003, the Hotel Suisse Nice has forty two air-conditioned and spacious rooms, the majority having terraces or balconies with sea views. The Hotel is located near the yacht port at the end of Promenade des Anglais - an excellent location for walking to the old town and along the sea front. It is built against the hillside on one side (part of the castle wall is exposed in the breakfast room) and faces the sea on the other. The rooms are of a standard size, decorated in pastel colours, and have full bathrooms with bath, minibar, satellite television, air conditioning and hairdryer. Most rooms have one big bed, although a few have twin beds. An extra bed is only possible in a superior room. The English-speaking reception staff are helpful at this hotel and can help you plan your stay in Nice, arrange car rental, or make restaurant reservations. Parking is at a nearby parking lot at about 25 euros for 24 hours.
