Once the home of the Marquis de la Fayette, the château de Reignac near Loches was entirely renovated in 2003 and is now a beautiful small hotel and restaurant. Situated in a beautiful park, it is a perfect place to relax, to walk, to read or to listen to your favourite music. The twelve rooms of the castle bear the names of famous historical persons, Gilbert de la Fayette, Adrienne de Noailles… who lived or stayed at Reignac. The rooms are decorated in the style of their great names of history and offer all the comforts of a luxury hôtel. All rooms have, of course, full bathrooms. The delightful dining room offers regional cuisine of an excellent quality and half board rates are available. It is possible to reserve all the rooms in the house for families or groups of friends and special rates would be applicable (based on half board option). Dinner is served from 20 hrs. to 21:30 hours and the set menu includes cocktail, entree, main dish, dessert, wine, mineral water and coffee (40 euros approx.) and 20 euros for a child up to twelve years old.

Notes Discover the history of the French Renaissance by a sound and light display in Amboise (presentations in French, English, German, Dutch, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.) Discover the Loire Valley and its castles in a montgolfier. Tennis is available 100 metres from the hotel. Golf in the vicinity, horseriding and biking nearby.

If reservation is cancelled 7 days before arrival, there is no charge by the hotel. From cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival, one night will be charged by the hotel. In case of no show, one night will be charged. If you leave earlier than previously booked, the whole stay will be charged.
