This small inn, in the Midi-Pyrenees near Revel, has just eight pretty ensuite rooms and a dining room that serves exceptionally good local cuisine (please let the owners know in advance if you would like to reserve a table - dinner starts at approximately 22 euros including wine). The location is close to the Saint Ferreol lake and the inn provides a perfect base from which to visit Carcasonne, Castelnaudary and the many interesting small towns surrounding Revel. There is a pleasant swimming pool in the grounds, and there is plenty of free parking. The multi-lingual staff are warm and helpful and would be delighted to help you plan your daily excursions. The rooms are simply furnished, bright and airy, with an ensuite bathroom (some with just a divider rather than a separate room), TV and comfortable furniture. The entire property is non-smoking.
