To take advantage of half board option, the hotel requires a minimum stay of two nights. There are some weekly rates available in July and August, Saturday to Saturday.

Located in the heart of the Perigord Pourpre, 12 km. north of Bergerac, is this delightful manor house constructed in the 16th century on the ruins of an ancient English bastion, and surrounded by 43 hectares of park and forest. On one side is the valley view and on the other a small lake. There are forty two rooms and two suites in the Manoir, all with full bathroom, satellite television and telephone and stylish decor (some with Baldaquin bed). The restaurant and terrace Le Pourpre et Or serves a traditional cuisine using local ingredients. There is a heated swimming pool, tennis, horseriding in the vicinity and hiking possibilities everywhere.

Notes Bergerac, capital of the purple Périgord lies either side of the Dordogne. The renovation of the old town has enhanced the pretty half-timbered houses and the XVth and XVIth century buildings. Today Bergerac is surrounded by 11.000 ha of vineyards - visit the house of wines in the Cloître des Récollets. The pretty food market held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings is a popular attraction. Closest train station is at Bergerac, and closest airports Bergerac and Perigueux.
