A stone's throw from Bergerac and Monbazillac is this friendly and charming inn, originally built in the eighteenth century as a manor house. Located in the very heart of the Périgord Pourpre, and on a hill looking over the church towers of Bergerac, St Nexans, Le Colombier and Conne de Labarde. The owners, Brigitte and Jean-Louis, have completed significant renovations to this attractive house and they will welcome you warmly to the hotel and lovely grounds. Enjoy a stroll around the lake, laze by the pool or go mountain biking. The ten rooms (all non-smoking) have private bathrooms and are simply but attractively decorated. The public rooms in the inn are very special. Table d'hote dining is available at this property (28-35 euros) but you should reserve in advance.
Family Information
Children between 0 and 4 are free and children between 4 and 12 are 10 Euros. There are communicating rooms which will accommodate a family of up to 5. A babysitting service is available upon request.
Meal Information
Table d'Hote, with traditional fresh local produce. From 45 Euros per adult and 27 Euros per child, not including wine. Dinner is not served on Mondays and, during low season, on Tuesdays as well.
Notes The closest airport is at Bergerac Roumaniere (5 km) and train station at Bergerac (9 km). Home cinema and bicycles are available for guests. Fishing in the ponds, horseriding in the neighbourhood ( 2 kms), golf course and tennis at 7 kms. The hotel is situated between Saint-Emilion and Sarlat. Here there are many vineyards and wine tasting. Even the Chartreuse has its own cellar where guests can taste the wine.

In case of no show, the total amount of the stay will also be charged including all services purchased upon reserving.

The most beautiful and tranquil place we have ever stayed. It is very romantic and with a beautiful views. The grounds were perfectly maintained. The hosts were very warm and kind. It was a close drive to lovely Berjarac. We wish we stayed a second night. We will definitely go back. The hostess called a head to winery for a tasting for us.
Didn't Like:
We did not luck out with staying on a Tuesday night, the Chartreuse's restaurant was closed. The hostess recommended we make a reservation in Berjarac for a restaurant. We did not take her up on it and all of the good quality restaurants were full. ” Rating: Very Good
