Built in 1890 and superbly renovated and enhanced recently, the little chambre d'hote inn Toile Blanche is located on one of the hills surrounding the pretty village of St. Paul. Full of creative artworks, fantastic design, stunning architecture and a satisfying mix of very old and very modern -- all in the peace and quiet of a secluded location in the south of France. The house has a comfortable and low-key atmosphere. Each of the six rooms has either queen or king beds, natural marble and zinc bathrooms, minibar and wifi connection (all rooms are no-smoking). The views from the terrace are gorgeous. The 16 metre heated swimming pool is surrounded by avocado, fig and palm trees. The dining room (for dinner) is open only from 14 June to 15 September. There is a different menu each day and the style is gastronomic/innovative, dinner at a price of 50 euros per person. Lunch is not generally served. It is important to make dinner reservations in advance. Breakfast is included in the price of your room. The Leroy Brothers have recently been awarded the Michelin 'Knife and Fork' award for the restaurant. You will probably need a car at this location. It is possible to walk to a nearby hotel for lunch or dinner, which is a ten minute walk and it talkes 25 minutes to walk to the village of St. Paul. If required, collection from Nice airport is possible. There are many pleasant walks in the vicinity. This is an unsuitable location for children and no extra beds are possible.
