This modern, elegant inn is filled with light, art and good design. The Villa is a work of art in itself, built of albinic Provencal stone sculpted in bold, sweeping lines, with a retractable glass-enclosed reception atrium. There is marble flooring throughout, giving it an airy modern feel, while retaining a comfortable and intimate ambience. Nestled beneath the ancient ramparts of St. Paul, overlooking the heart of the Cote d'Azur down to the sea, the villa is a short walk from St. Paul's famous Maeght Foundation, considered one of the finest modern art museums in the world. With one of the most breathtaking views on the Riviera, this is indeed a special place to stay. The rooms are comfortable with wonderful linens, and the bathrooms are state of the art with non-fogging mirrors, huge towel warmers, fluffy towels and super showers. The Saint Maxime Suite has a luxurious circular bath pool and is connected to the master bedroom with dual staircases to a sunken sitting room, opening on to a spacious private balcony with wonderful Riviera views. A glass of orange wine greets each visitor and on retiring there is a trolley with nightcaps and chocolates in the salon. Enjoy a champagne breakfast with fresh orange juice, pastries, yogurt and eggs. The villa does not have a restaurant but there are several very good restaurants within easy walking distance. The swimming pool is located to give a spectacular view, and it is surrounded with comfortable deck chairs for pure relaxation.

Notes Tennis 5 minutes away, golf 20 minutes. Good beaches 20-25 minutes drive. Walking trails nearby. An easy walk to the village and just around the corner from the Maeght Foundation. Free enclosed parking. Closest airport Nice at 15 minutes drive. Train station at Cagnes sur Mer 10 minutes, or Nice station 45 minutes. There are buses that run from the village and taxis are available. Check in 14:00 to 21:00 and check out latest 11:00 hrs.
