This small, luxurious inn - chambre d'hote style - was once a farmhouse, and is set amidst extensive gardens with olive trees, lavender, figs, fruit trees and a delightful swimming pool (not to mention the boules pitch). The owner has horses and sheep and is very helpful and gracious. Located just 4 km. west of Saint Remy de Provence at the foot of the Alpilles, it is close to the artisan village of Les Baux. There is a lovely walk from the Mas into Les Baux across the Alpilles, which takes about 2.5 hours. Take a picnic with you and the hike will be memorable. The rooms are furnished with queen size beds (some with a canopy) and interesting antique furniture and each room has its own bathroom with shower. One of the rooms has a balcony and several on the ground floor have their own private terrace. There is air conditioning in the rooms as well as a minifridge and safe. Wifi is free (it is only available in the lounge). You may enjoy a delicious Provencal breakfast in the charming dining room or outside on the terrace. Enjoy meals made with fresh, local ingredients at the Mas (the menu changes each evening but it is a fixed menu). Dinner is served at 7:45 pm. There is one romantic gypsy caravan with a big bed (with an annex bathroom caravan). This is a delightful place to stay with an intimate feel -- not a hotel, more a friend's home.

If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to your reservation date, only the deposit of 50 euros will be retained. If you cancel between 30 and 16 days prior to your reservation, 25% of the total reservation will be retained and the balance credited to you. If you cancel between 15 and 6 days prior to your reservation, 50% of the total reservation will be retained and the balance credited to you. If you cancel between 5 days prior and the date of your reservation, or do not show up, then the total reservation will be retained.
