“We were put in rooms next to each other and I think these were upgraded rooms. The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. We were slightly disappointed with the food however. The portions were very small, some of the vegetables were cold (perhaps they were meant to be!) and the fairly expensive bottle of red wine we ordered was too cold to drink. We didn't change it because we assumed that all the red wine was kept in the same place and would be of a similar standard. Otherwise the hotel can not be faulted and the service was excellent.”
