The staff were all wonderful - the food and pool were excellent - we particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful and worked very hard to ensure that our stay was comfortable and restful.Their two dogs were gorgeous and they kindly allowed us to walk them in the woods nearby. It was a great place to stay for a couple of nights before we headed further South in France.

Easy to find. Very clean, and staff very helpful and pleasant. The location was perfect for people using it as an overnight base to cross from Calais to South West France, as we were. The communal areas are really good.
Didn't Like:
The room was very small, The shower over the bath was adequate. The food was tasty but a bit over fussy. ”

Swimming pool at the end of a long hot day was great.

The room we stayed in and the public areas were rather 'tired'. For example one of the light fittings in our room was hanging off the wall and didn't work. ”

Probably the most disappointing hotel of all. Rooms are small, generally gloomy and the place looks very "tired". Staff uninterested. Dinner was OK - food good quality but wines generally a rip off (even allowing for the usual mark up) - go to Chez Arnaud on the N side of town - much better value. ”
