Set in a medieval village, 15 km near Avignon, is this lovely old vineyard house decorated with a contemporary touch and surrounded by pretty gardens and a gorgeous swimming pool. Great attention has been paid to the smallest detail, like linens ironed with flower water, and flowers everywhere. The cuisine is original and delectable...honeyed lamb with thyme on a skewer or an oriental flavoured vegetable curry (restaurant available on Friday and Saturday nights only). Find a shady spot in the garden to relax and read, or swim in the attractive swimming pool. Enjoy a rosewater or essential oil bath, join Philippe in half an hour of yoga. If you feel energetic, bikes are available. This is a perfect location from which to explore Provence's many attractions.

The property had been modernized with great flare. There had been lots of thought about colour schemes, right down to the colour of the swimming pool and matching lounging cushions.
It was very peaceful relaxing in the garden.
Didn't Like:
Although the advertizing said that the proprietors could offer evening meals on Fridays and Saturdays they were not prepared to offer that. There were no restaurants open in the village in the evenings when we were there in late September. We always had to drive to an evening meal.
It was not always clear what we were and were not allowed to do in the kitchen.
The proprietors could be a bit "cold" at times.”
