We enjoyed being in the countryside and being able to wander about. Our hostess was very attentive. Dinner and breakfast were great. I particularly enjoyed seeing the artworks on display and browsing through the art books on the various artists.

The main thing that appealed to us was that it was unmstakeably french! The hosts are charming, the food incredibly good and the Hotel and extensive grounds take you back to times past. We were able to practice our limited french which is something we are rarely allowed to do in more tourist areas
