Mimosas, Orangers, Amandiers, Bougainvillea: the typical names of the rooms at this attractive 5 bedroomed inn (chambre d'hote) located only 5 km. from Saint-Paul, and a 15 minute walk down a footpath to the town of Vence. The Provencale style building occupies a wonderful hillside location with glimpses of the Mediterranen. Two of the five rooms are adjoining - perfect for a family of four. Kristin and Frederic, who have created this very pretty inn, will tell you about all the interesting places to visit in the vicinity--or perhaps you will prefer to rest by the tranquil swimming pool in the afternoon heat. Rooms are simply and attractively decorated in classic provencale shades. The hillside atmosphere is relaxing --seemingly far from the scorching heat and madding-crowds of the Cote D'Azur, but with wonderful restaurants and cultural attractions within easy reach. Breakfast is included in the price. The property is reached by a narrow winding road up the hill from Vence. This is a quiet, attractive place to really relax. The inn has its own parking and there is wi-fi access in each room (and the garden) at a cost of 10 euros a day. The pleasant swimming pool is available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The owners are delightful and helpful and the inn is completely non-smoking.

“Our hostess was charming. Her taste impeccable. The comfort and amenities outstanding. The place was just great. We stayed in the little apartment in blue and yellow Provencal style. We would choose it again when we visit (that one because we like having a kitchnette). (I hope it is not too hard to get next time(:) Everything was wonderful. Please let her know. If there are any updates on Colline de Vence and the area please let me know. I plan to visit again for a longer time (perhaps at Colline de Vence) and am doing research to live in that area. We explored it thoroughly and I have bought CDs to improve my Frence. We toured, stayed in other places of the same caliber in southern Provence but liked the Vence area the best. We will always have fond memories of our 25th anniversary, in part, thanks to Colline de Vence. I will highly recommend it!!!!!”
