The Moulin de Labique, dating from the XVIII century, is situated in the heart of the region of the Haut Agenais Perigord. The sixty acres of rolling pastures, ponds, rivers and streams circle this country property. These are idyllic surroundings for a serene holliday. Relax in this beautiful setting and enjoy the delicious food prepared by Hélène in the pretty dining room. The best fresh products of the region are the basis of the Hélène's cuisine. Taste the specialities of the region: foie gras, cassoulet with broad beans, duck casserole with red wine, fresh-water crayfish flambed with Armagnac. There are three double bedrooms, two suites and one apartment with terrace, all delightfully decorated with antique furniture, comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, and paintings and etchings which give each room an individual personality. La "Suite de la Bignonne" has two bedrooms decorated in a charming style of the past, little bouquets of flowers in pastel colours. The other, butter yellow with a frieze of yellow roses, and with two single beds in Provencal style. La Chambre Du Meunier is decorated with famous "Jouy" stretched fabric wall covering and matching furnishings. It is tastefully designed in keeping with the XVIII century period of the mill. Etchings and water colours of horse drawn carriages echo the timelessness of this room. The view from here is towards the Old Mill and a trellis of Moissac' vines. Other rooms include Le Loft des Kiwi and La Chambre Marronier. There is a private swimming pool at the Moulin, and some ponies.

Fine food and wine.” Rating: Excellent “couldn't have been better. great hosts, beautiful rooms, delicious food.” Rating: Very Good “Liked: The host & hostess, Christine & Patrick made our stay so pleasureable and comfortable. They called to make reservations and retrieve glasses we left in a rental car. The lovely breakfasts were a treat for our family and the evening meal we had there was very delicious. Patrick knew a lot about wines which was of particular interest to our son. Also, we loved their 2 dogs and the walks we took with them on the grounds. Didn't Like: Only inconvenience was the intermittent internet connection which made it difficult to confirm appointments at wineries. ” Rating: Very Good “very comfortable and welcoming. excellent set dinner menu. would certainly stay again”
