Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. This 19th century Domaine has been transformed into a stylish hotel with two Perigourdin pavilions overlooking a nine-hole golf course, with a panoramic view over the Dordogne Valley. In the heart of the Perigord Noir region (sometimes called the cradle of prehistory), the property is near the village of Vitrac, just 6 km. from Sarlat. The interior is dramatic, with marble floors and stone walls. There are thirty five double rooms of various types, all with air conditioning, satellite television, minibar, telephone, king beds (may be separated into twins), ensuite bathrooms with hairdryer and private terrace. The rooms are stylishly decorated in a contemporary and comfortable style. The main restaurant’s gourmet cuisine is based on local products (highly recommended) and there is also a club-house restaurant offering lighter meals. The outdoor swimming pool is open during the summer months. A perfect base from which to explore the many interesting towns and sights of the Dordogne.

The chef loves to use regional products: truffles, fole grass, fillet of duck and other specialities from the South West, flavoured with aromatic herbs cultivated in the garden.
